印地安那大学伯明顿分校,Indiana University,Bloomington 建校于公元1820年，是印第安纳大学系统〈Indiana University System〉中最早成立的学校，也是印第安纳大学系统中最有名气的分校。印第安纳大学系统属于州立大学;该系统除了伯明顿校区以外，还有其它7个不同的分校，分散在印第安纳的大小不同城市之中。
根据印第安纳大学官方网站2001-2002年统计，当年入学学生总共有37,963人，大学部学生有28,511 人，研究所学生有8,200名。而大学部学生中，国际学生有1,288人，占所有大学部学生的4.5%;而在研究所部分，国际学生有1,588人，占全部学生的20.7%。当年入学印第安纳大学的亚洲学生〈包括亚裔〉共有1,178名，占该校学生人口的7.9%。
IUB拥有53个美国最好的大学部课程〈highest-rated academic programs〉、25个国家级的研究课程〈National recognition programs〉、与32个全美前10名的研究课程〈top ten ranking programs〉。印第安纳大学商学院〈Kelly School〉是印第安纳大学内最强的学术团队。
Kelly School成立至今已有40余年，始终被美国商界认定为最佳的商学教学机构。Kelly School之所以能成为美国商学院的翘楚，在于其擅用与商界的关系与资源，并且提供自己的学生多种不同的见习机会。比如说，Kelly School与校外厂商合作推行的计划称为Kelly商业行政谘商〈Kelly Executive Partners〉，简称KEP。KEP计划是Kelly School的附属商业机构，负责Kelly School对外界厂商的人才培训计划，帮助厂商训练行政管理人才或评估商业行为的可能风险。KEP计划在Kelly School中已行之有年，自1952年至今，KEP计划已经为不少美国大厂提供过了商务咨询与规划。
KEP计划主要可以分为两部分：一个是商务计划〈Custom Programs〉主要是帮忙厂商设计商务营销案或提供厂商商务咨询。商务计划曾经合作过的厂商有：3M〈文具、纸制品〉、IBM〈计算机〉、Eli Lilly〈药品〉等。另一个是银行团计划〈Consortia Programs〉，主要是KEP机构藉由自身的学术专业，协助同构型较高的企业行程同盟〈alliance〉，将自身的产业结构透明化，来降低投资的风险。
Kelly School与外界厂商的另外一个合作计划是学术商业同盟〈Cooperate Alliance〉。简称KSB，这项计划属于比较单纯的建教合作计划，商学院学生可以藉由这个计划到与学校签有合约的公司实习或工读。

Many people assume that if you attend Indiana University, especially in Bloomington, IN that you are there just to party. People assume that you might attend a few easy classes, but the majority of your time is spent getting drunk and going to parties.[3]
