一、学校概述
创办于1883年的北达科他大学(University of North Dakota-Grand Forks)简称UND，位于北达科他州和明尼苏达州的交界处格蓝福克(Grand Forks)，历史久远，为北达科他州内最好的公立大学。UND的专业学院分门别类，主要学院为护理学院(The College of Nursing)、医学健康科学学院(The School of Medicine and Health Sciences)、人文与科学学院(The College of Arts and Sciences)、法律学院(The School of Law)等等，提供了约150种以上不同专业领域的课程，供学生选修。
UDN位于美国中西部，其生活形态是非常典型的美国乡村生活，以农业为主，主要种植的农作物为小麦，另外有石油、煤炭业和制造业等。北达科他州的天气四季分明，变化极大，但空气十分的清新，夏天的平均温度为19-25度左右，随时可见一望无际的大草原景象，不时可见到许多当地的野生动物，十分壮观。冬天的平均温度为零下16-零下10度左右，会下雪，甚至于严寒。而格蓝福克是一个拥有居民约50,000人左右的典型大学城，居住在这里的居民，多半是教职员及学生等，学术气息浓厚，环境幽雅，拥有许多天然资源及休闲设施。在北达科他大学学习知识是一个不错的选择，没有加州的喧嚣、没有纽约的忙碌，在宁静之余沉淀自己，接受大自然的洗涤，更能专心在课业上念书。而且其学费低廉，因此也是许多国际学生选择的要素之一。

五、申请条件
(1) 学士申请者需要高中毕业，GPA在2.5以上，TOEFL 525或雅思6.0以上。TOEFL450- TOEFL 525可以参加ESL。TOEFL450以下必须通过MIEC测试。(2) 硕士申请者必须已获得学士学位，GPA在3.0以上，TOEFL500或IELTS5.5需要读ESL, TOEFL525-600 (雅思6.0-7.0)，进入专业课学习。需要GRE/GMAT。申请TA需TOEFL 600以上。
